Dr. Gene Ireland

With the combined experience of three specialties,
Dr. Ireland
is uniquely qualified to address the most complex of plastic surgery
issues. As a recognized specialist in plastic surgery and oral and
maxillofacial surgery. He is dedicated to providing his patients with
the information they need when deciding on the right plastic and
cosmetic surgery options to meet their specific appearance goals.
Dr. Ireland completed his undergraduate studies at the University of
Kansas in 1965 and graduated with distinction from the University of
Missouri in 1969 where he received his Doctor of Dentistry degree. He
received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of
Connecticut in 1975. Dr. Ireland completed his plastic surgery
residency at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia in
1980, his general surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati,
and his oral surgery residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas,
Texas. Further education included a fellowship in Plastic Surgery at
The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Ireland is a member of the
prestigious American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), the American
Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), the American Society
of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic
Surgeons (ASAPS), a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons (FACS)
and other national and local medical societies.
