Ultrasonic Facial

At The Plastic Surgery Group, we have incorporated the ultrasonic facial into our skin care program to help reduce the visible effects of hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, brown spots and acne scarring. Most importantly, the ultrasound is great for all skin types including sensitive and ethnic. The Procedure: An antioxidant rich gel will be applied to the treatment area. The gel allows ultrasonic energy to penetrate tissue and heat the blood supply deep below the skin's surface. This deep heating action stimulates the production of fibroblasts, the major initiator of collagen, which the skin needs to maintain suppleness and elasticity. The gel also contains several active ingredients that are critical in the skin rejuvenation process. The ultrasonic energy enhances the absorption of this gel by increasing the penetration to tissue areas where active ingredients can do the most good.
