Dr. Christopher N. Vashi, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Vashi has dedicated his medical career to meeting the unique and individualized needs of his patients. Dr. Vashi completed his undergraduate studies at Kent State University, graduating summa cum laude, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, where he was honored as a Top Quartile Graduate. After finishing his general residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Vashi also completed fellowship in plastic surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Vashi is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and the American Board of Surgery (ABS), is a member in good standing of the prestigious American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and has authored several publications and research initiatives in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Prior to joining The Plastic Surgery Group, Dr. Vashi served as Assistant Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in an Academic Practice at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, Florida. While practicing in Jacksonville, he was named TOP DOC in Plastic Surgery by Jacksonville Magazine in 2008 and 2009. In addition to his academic practice, he participated in missionary trips to third-world countries to treat children with cleft lip and palate deformities.
